Real Help for Communities’ Modernisation Fund Amount: £11,000 Kings College London SIFE and Whitebox Digital have partnered to support this fund, which consists of a bursary of £1000 and further grant of £10,000, the aim of which is to help ‘recession proof’ charities and social enterprises. The partnership provides assistance with applications to the grant and provides a cutting edge IT and support package for two years called Hosted Desktop from Whitebox Digital, as well as two students from Kings College London SIFE to help track and measure the social impact. Whilst delivering the IT solutions, Whitebox Digital will only be employing people who are currently unemployed - helping to deliver a double social impact through modernisation of smaller organisations to reduce their costs whilst increasing their productivity.
