Recognition for Clear in CIM's Marketing Excellence Awards

20/11/2009

Clear Communications has been shortlisted for the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Marketing Excellence Awards.

Nominated in the Automotive/Construction/Engineering/Manufacturing category for its 2009 campaign for Bridgestone Tyres, Clear Communications is shortlisted alongside well known brands such as CEMEX, BP Lubricants and Rolls Royce.

The 2009 Bridgestone Tyres campaign focussed on supporting the key chains, to encourage commitment to volume. Clear Communications developed a series of individualised marketing programmes for each key chain to support the achievement of targets, engage the commitment of staff and the confidence of senior executives to build a firm base for a long term partnership.

The campaign was hugely successful with Bridgestone realising a growth of 6% against an overall market drop of 5%. In same period Bridgestone jumped to be consistently in the top three most recommended brands in the country compared to 8th in 2008.

“We are delighted to have been recognised in the shortlist. The CIM’s Marketing Excellence awards are among the most esteemed on the annual marketing calendar and this is a fantastic endorsement of the good work we do,” commented Julie Clare, Managing Director. “We pride ourselves on delivering the best results for our clients, and I am very proud of what the team has achieved.”
